Setup guide
Wall Slayer wraps the full ComfyUI pipeline into a one-click desktop app.
The onboarding wizard detects your GPU, WSL2 environment, and installed models automatically —
you just need the right hardware foundation before you start.
System requirements
- OS: Windows 11 recommended (Windows 10 supported)
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX with 8GB+ VRAM (RTX 3060 minimum)
- RAM: 16GB system RAM recommended
- Storage: 40GB+ free for base model packs; 120GB+ for full library
- WSL2: Ubuntu on WSL2 required for the video generation pipeline
- Driver: NVIDIA 537.xx+ recommended for CUDA 12 support
First-run steps
- Run the Windows installer (.exe). It detects GPU, VRAM, and WSL2 automatically.
- Enter your Keygen.sh activation key from your receipt email. Requires internet once.
- Complete the onboarding GPU scan — it validates CUDA, VRAM, and model paths.
- Use the Model Manager to download FLUX.1-schnell and Wan 2.2 packs.
- Click Launch Engine. ComfyUI starts locally on a background port.
- Enter your first prompt and generate. Output appears in the wallpaper feed.
Model packs
Download only what you need. Each pack adds a generation mode.
- FLUX.1-schnell — Fast 4-step image generation (~12GB)
- Wan 2.2 (480p) — Text-to-video and image-to-video (~14GB)
- RealESRGAN-x4plus — AI upscaling to 4K (~65MB)
- UltraSharp — Alternative upscaler for portrait content (~65MB)
- RIFE v4.6 — Frame interpolation for smoother live wallpapers (~50MB)
Common setup issues
- Engine won't start: Ensure WSL2 is enabled in Windows Features and Ubuntu is installed from the Microsoft Store.
- CUDA not detected: Update to the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver and reboot before launching.
- VRAM OOM on generation: Use the 480p Wan 2.2 variant and reduce batch size to 1 in settings.
- Activation fails offline: The first activation requires internet. Subsequent launches are offline.
- Model download stalls: Pause and resume in the Model Manager. Files resume from where they stopped.
